Our client is seeking to appoint an exceptional CEO to lead a new independent school in South East England and develop its growth strategy for international premium schools.
They would like to appoint a dynamic CEO who shares the values and ethos of the holding business and who is willing to support ambitious plans for expansion into emerging markets, whilst improving the efficiency, recruitment and outcomes of this flagship UK independent school in South East England.
The parent company is a leading operator of premium and affordable premium independent schools and universities in the UK and emerging economies. The team consists of educational professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including school leadership, business and banking. The business is driven by one goal; delivering the best teaching and learning practice aligned to world renowned British standards to become recognised beacons of educational excellence.
Our portfolio of schools is rapidly growing, having recently acquired a well-respected independent school in South East England. Currently educating over 400 students, the school is ready to be transformed by exceptional leadership and management to become the only UK based premium independent school in the group. Initially the CEO will work with the principal to grow the UK school into a flagship premium independent school. Very quickly the CEO will work with the central education team to develop the premium school model in emerging markets such as Central Asia and Africa and some travel to the regions is to be expected.
Applicants for the post will be able to evidence experience of operating at a senior level within an education environment. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to build key collaborative and strategic partnerships, maximising the international opportunities available. As a highly skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to engage credibly and successfully build, lead and further develop key relationships with our premium school principals, the senior leadership team and other external stakeholders.
