As an EFL teacher trainer for Paramount you will be responsible for: 

Developing the knowledge and understanding of teaching reading, writing and speaking English. You will prepare inspiring lessons, encouraging independent learning, aspiration and academic excellence to teachers whose first language is not English. Working proactively and in collaboration with teachers and colleagues, you will work to raise the linguistic ability of all teachers. 

Teacher Training

Deliver the training as relevant to the ability group/subject(s) that you teach. 
Be responsible for the preparation and development of teaching materials, teaching programmes and pastoral arrangements as appropriate. 
Be accountable for the attainment, progress and outcomes of the teachers you are training. 
Be aware of teachers capabilities, their prior knowledge and plan training to differentiate appropriately. 


You will have a clear understanding of the needs of a variety of students, including those with special learning needs; gifted and talented; EAL; disabilities; and be able to use and evaluate distinctive teaching approaches to engage and support them. 
Demonstrate an understanding of and take responsibility for promoting high standards of literacy including the correct use of spoken English. 
Use an appropriate range of observation, assessment, monitoring and recording strategies as a basis for setting challenging learning objectives for teachers of all backgrounds, abilities and dispositions, monitoring learners progress and levels of attainment. 
Make accurate and productive use of assessment to secure teachers progress. 

Requirements:

At least 5 years’ experience as an EFL teacher and a minimum of 2 years in a teacher training role.

Native level English speaker essential.
